1 of 200 selected recipients by UF to undertake a full research project, under the guidance of a faculty member. Dr. Rachael Seidler's lab provided an opportunity to look closer into the effects of increased CO2 on the CNS and neurophysiological processes of astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Fulfillments of the program include working 10 hours a week on the project and by spring 2025, have published in a journal and attended their symposium. Duties include data analysis, collection, recruiting, and reading articles.
